The INOV.AM agenda, through its scientific coordinator, Professor António Pontes, featured in edition nº6 of the Trust Magazine – from ISQ, dedicated to Additive Manufacturing.
During the interview, António Pontes explained how INOV.AM‘s disruptive approach aims to develop and disseminate knowledge, technologies, and materials for Additive Manufacturing in Portugal; the advantages of these processes applied to industry, and the importance of collaborations between academia and industry.

In this way, it is possible to improve the efficiency and flexibility of processes, allowing the creation of personalized products of high quality and added value.”
“In such a competitive market, knowledge must always be at the frontier. For this, it is necessary to continuously monitor technological changes and stimulate long-term Innovation and the acquisition of technology.”
